Lost and Found

Over a decade ago, the notion of "decluttering" began to prevail. People gave away their unnecessary belongings to let go of material possessions and obsessions. Nonetheless, of the things that we casually discarded, where did they go? Perhaps they were still lingering around - they might be passed into other’s hands, found their way into second-hand stores, buried in landfills and sent to incinerators. Or, perhaps, they sunk deep into the depths of the ocean, where they underwent years of sedimentation, accumulated and absorbed the essence of nature through the passing of time until one day, transcended into immortal spirits… The question remains - these objects were never lost. All along, they still exist in different forms. The ambiguous demarcation between them and us remain undeniable. Blurring these lines is not as easy as it may seem.
